Short-Haul training May 19-20
Yosemite Helicopter Rescue Team and Yosemite Helitack will be conducting short-haul rescue training from the El Capitan Meadow May 19th and 20th beginning at 07:30 and ending at approximately 14:00 each day. Climbing routes at Slab Happy Pinnacle will be closed to climbing for both days to facilitate this training.
Slab Happy Pinnacle is the golden slabs right of the East Buttress of El Cap. Thank you for staying off this wall during the training!
