On Sunday, the weather finally cleared, El Capitan began to dry, and several parties began their bid to climb the giant wall. The Ask-A-Climber program is in full swing at the El Capitan Bridge. Come by and check the progress of your friends on their NIAD with our telescopes or find out the latest information regarding your stay in Yosemite. While you are at the bridge, take a second to enjoy the stunned expressions of the general public when they see climbers up on the wall. The Ask-A-Climber program is funded by a Yosemite Conservancy Grant and facilitated by the National Park Service and the Wilderness Protection Division, but it’s individual climbers sharing their experience on the bridge that makes the program an important part of our community.
