UPDATE: As of May 12th, no more snow at the base of climb, or going up to the shoulder. The spring is looking good, lots of water. Things are still really wet on the slabs and at the base due to current weather patterns. Parts of the approach at the top of the slabs are eroding and washed away. Climbers at the base had a bear can and a permit! And that team bailed because of the cold, and apparently a team the day before also bailed because of the cold. It is cold and windy at the base and at the top of Half Dome. Not much new info.
